All of the below treatments do have potential side effects. This will be discussed with you during the consultation along with treatment times and after care advice. Managing expectations is also an important part of the consultation process.

All treatments are carried out by a fully qualified Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber.

Wrinkle Relaxing Injections

Botox is a prescription only drug, Botilium toxin type A.  It works by relaxing the facial muscles by causing them to become temporarily inactive.  The result should give a fresher, smoother look to the face.  The most common areas injected are between the eyebrows, the forehead and the crow’s feet.  In time with repeated treatments, the lines should gradually fade.

All new customers must have an initial consultation. The consultation will include a full medical history. Potential side effects will be explained along with post treatment care and advice. Botox is not suitable for everyone and suitability can be assessed at the first consultation.

Treatment is given via a tiny needle and slight discomfort might be felt.  It usually takes about 10 minutes to administer. For those with a low pain threshold, local anaesthetic cream can be administered 30 minutes prior to the procedure.  Results can usually be noticed around 4 days following the treatment and the full effect is usually achieved in 2 weeks.  A follow up review may be needed 2 weeks later. The effects usually last between 3-4 months.

Following the treatment small red bumps can appear but these usually subside within 15 minutes.

Clinical research has shown that it is a very safe procedure if administered by a qualified healthcare professional with the correct training.

Dermal Fillers

As we age we begin to produce less Hyaluronic acid (HA) and collagen. This can lead to wrinkles, sagging and loss of volume. Dermal fillers are great for plumping and adding volume back into to the skin.

Dermal fillers are made from Hyaluronic acid, which beautifully mimic the natural HA found in the skin. Fillers with a high safety profile are used.  These include Belotero, Juvederm and Restylane.  They are non- permanent usually lasting between 9-12 months. There are various different types of filler available which vary in thickness, thereby allowing treatment of fine lines through to heavier lines.

Most areas of the face can be treated including the cheeks and naso-labial folds or whole mid face using the 8 point lift.

A consultation is carried out before hand and a full medical history taken. Treatment can be carried out on the same day. Local anaesthetic cream is applied prior to the procedure. The filler is injected into the skin using a fine needle.

Some redness and swelling is expected following this procedure but this usually settles down within 24 hours.

Genuine Dermaroller™
Skin Rejuvenation & Scar Repair

Genuine Dermaroller™ Can significantly improve the appearance of facial and décolleté lines and wrinkles, sun damaged and ageing skin, acne scars and stretch marks.

Genuine Dermaroller™ Therapy™ provides advanced micro-medical skin-needling, a procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin. Genuine Dermaroller™ can be used to treat uneven skin tone, wrinkles, large pores, scars and can help to improve the skin firmness and elasticity.

It works by using a hand held roller device that contains lots of tiny needles. The needle produces thousands of microscopic needle columns in the dermis of the skin which in turn encourages the skin to regenerate itself naturally by the production of more collagen and elastin fibres. The texture and appearance of the skin should improve over the next few weeks. Follow up treatments are usually needed.

A consultation is carried out prior to the procedure. Local anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand. Redness and mild swelling is expected following treatment but this usually subsides within 24 hours.

The procedure can usually be carried out on the same day as the consultation. The treatment involves the injection of the product through a fine needle.  Local anaesthetic cream is applied 30 minutes prior to the procedure to reduce the discomfort.

Following the treatment, the lips can be mildly swollen but this usually settles down within 24 hours.

RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler is an injectable wrinkle filler that works by immediately restoring facial volume to smooth out the signs of aging. Once injected, it adds volume and over time begins to stimulate the production of the body's natural collagen for results that may last up to a year or more in many patients.

Radiesse pushes up contour defecits, providing a lifting effect and giving instant volume. It provides more volumatic correction than normal HA fillers. It is suitable for the treatment of wrinkles and can be used for cheek enhancement, chin wrinkles, corners of the mouth and marionette lines.

It is made up of tiny calcium based microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. The calcium microspheres stimulate the production of collagen.  It is a non- permanent filler but does last longer than normal HA fillers. It can last up to 18 months.

A medical consultation is carried out prior to the procedure. Local anaesthetic cream is applied and the product is injected through a fine needle. Redness and swelling are common following the treatment, but this usually subsides within 24 hours.
